MotoGP – 2025 Grand Prix of Czechia

Marc Márquez secured a commanding win in the main race, completing a stunning weekend double after his sprint victory . With this triumph, he not only extended his streak to five consecutive grand prix victories but also became the first Ducati rider ever to achieve such a feat in the premier class .

The race showcased high drama from the start—Álex Márquez crashed out on the second lap following contact with Joan Mir, abruptly ending his challenge and causing him significant championship damage . Francesco Bagnaia, despite claiming pole, faded early and finished fourth, unable to counter Marquez’s pace .

Marco Bezzecchi briefly led in the mid-stages but could not fend off Marc, who seized control by lap eight and steadily pulled away  . Marco Bezzecchi and Pedro Acosta rounded out the podium, with Acosta celebrating his first main-race rostrum since early 2024—and Bezzecchi delivering a standout performance for Aprilia .

Marc’s dominance now extends his lead in the championship to an imposing gap: 95 points over Álex, confirming his status as the man to beat this season  . With a perfect weekend behind him, Marc will head into the mid-season break as the firm favorite for the 2025 title.
