The motorsport weekend is back again with the MotoGP British GP at Silverstone were the rain was falling during the whole day and we had a wet qualifying. Wanna know what happened? Keep reading!
First qualifying round with the debut of Alex Lowes, twin brother of Sam Lowes who was the fastest rider during the first minutes followed by Loris Baz. On their second attempt Pol Espargaró and Danilo Petrucci were now on top, but Bradl with the Aprilia was now the fastest rider. The battle for the first two positions was very close and again Lowes reached the top with a second position on his first MotoGP qualifying. It was really hard to make a bet about who will go to Q2 because any mistake would leave you out of the battle. Chequered flag and still everything to know. Laverty and Miller were the fastest riders at the end of Q1 and the bottom of the grid was completed by Baz, Petrucci, Pol Espargaró, Lowes, Bradl, Barbera, Bautista, Hernandez and Rabat.
Second qualifying round and the rain was still falling. Lorenzo was the fastest rider on his first attempt while we see that Miller fell on track but the rider is okay. Crutchlow who was the last MotoGP winner was improving and took the provisional pole, followed by both Yamaha. Andrea Dovizioso also crashed on turn 15 while we saw how Marquez fall also while he was on third position on turn 1. On their last attempt Laverty was coming really fast beating the time of Crutchlow, but he crashed.
