The San Marino Grand Prix was full of surprises for the MotoGP riders. Marco Bezzecchi started from pole position, but an early crash handed the race lead to Marc Marquez. Jorge Martin, determined to hold on to the championship lead, fought hard for the victory, but the Aprilia rider gradually slipped down the order, allowing Marc to take over the top spot in the standings by the end of the race.
