Marc Márquez claimed a hard-fought victory at Misano in the San Marino GP, holding off the challenge from Marco Bezzecchi to notch his 11th win of the 2025 season. After crashing out of the lead in yesterday’s sprint race, Márquez started the main race from the second row and was patient until the decisive moment came on lap 12.

Bezzecchi, who had won the sprint, led the first half of the race and looked strong throughout, applying constant pressure on Márquez. But Márquez seized the opportunity when Bezzecchi ran wide at Turn 8, taking the lead and then defending well through to the finish.
Álex Márquez completed the podium in third, making it a double podium for the Marquez brothers and giving his team another strong result. Franco Morbidelli, Fabio Di Giannantonio, and others also had solid performances behind them.

This win stretches Marc’s championship lead to 182 points, taking him closer to what could become his seventh MotoGP title. With six races remaining, he’s now in a position where only exceptional misfortune seems likely to stop him from clinching the championship in Japan in two weeks.
