Marc Márquez delivered a commanding performance in today’s MotoGP Sprint Race at the Aragon Grand Prix, securing his seventh sprint victory of the 2025 season. Despite a challenging start that saw him drop to fourth after contact with Pedro Acosta, Márquez showcased his resilience by steadily climbing back through the field. He overtook his brother Álex Márquez on lap six and maintained his lead to finish over two seconds ahead, further solidifying his position at the top of the championship standings.

Álex Márquez had a strong race, leading in the early stages and setting the fastest lap on lap four. However, he couldn’t hold off Marc’s charge and settled for second place. Fermín Aldeguer impressed by climbing from seventh on the grid to finish third, completing an all-Spanish podium. Franco Morbidelli and Pedro Acosta rounded out the top five, while championship contender Francesco Bagnaia struggled, finishing outside the points in twelfth place.
This victory extends Marc Márquez’s lead in the championship to 27 points over Álex Márquez. His consistent performances this season have made him the clear favourite for the title. The Spanish riders’ dominance at MotorLand Aragón was evident, much to the delight of the home crowd. With the main race still to come, fans are eager to see if Marc can continue his winning streak and further cement his status as the championship leader.
