The MotoGP season has ended on a race that will stay in our memory as the born of a new MotoGP World Champion. Jorge Martin claimed the title after finishing 3rd at the Solidarity GP in Barcelona and will bring the number 1 to his new future team, Aprilia.
Pecco Bagnaia was the rider who won the last race of the season, having more than 50% of the victories this season, but it wasn’t enough because Martin was always behind him and when Pecco failed, Martin was able to claim the victory and finishing with more points at the championship.
The race was perfect for Pecco, who didn’t find any rival during all the laps in Barcelona, with Marc Marquez following him in his final race with Gresini, because next season he will become Pecco’s teammate at Ducati, and Jorge Martin finished 3rd, becoming World Champion and being the 1st rider to become champion with an independent team since Valentino Rossi.
Now the 2024 MotoGP season is history, and next year we will enjoy so many updates… a new MotoGP logo, new riders, new changes in some teams like Pramac using Yamaha, or riders changing their team… But don’t worry because MiniBikers will stay here to bring you the highlights of the races with their unique point of view!
