MotoGP – 2024 Qatar GP – Sprint

The MotoGP World Championship has kicked off with another thrilling season, and the MiniBikers are ready to give you their unique perspective on the motorcycle racing world, starting with what happened in the first sprint race of the season.

After an exciting qualifying session in which Jorge Martin managed to clinch pole position, the Spanish rider tried to prevent any other rider from getting close to him at all costs. He took advantage of his Prima Pramac’s pace to pull away from his rivals for the win, with Brad Binder being the only one who could challenge him in the early laps of the race.

On the other hand, the current world champion, Francesco Bagnaia, had to make his way up the field to reach the podium. However, he found Marc Marquez, making his debut with Gresini and his first race with Ducati, capable of fight the Ducati leader. But a mistake from the Spaniard dashed his podium hopes. Nevertheless, another Spaniard wanted to fight for the third position on the podium, Aleix Espargaró, who managed to overtake not only Marc Marquez but also Francesco Bagnaia without any trouble, holding off the Ducati rider’s attack on the main straight with his Aprilia.

Victory for Jorge Martin in the sprint race, a masterful way to start the season, followed by Brad Binder and Aleix Espargaró on the podium. The top 10 would be completed by Bagnaia, Marc Marquez, Bastianini, Alex Marquez, Acosta, Viñales, and Miller.
