At the start Marquez defended his position against both Petronas, Quartararo took the second position while Morbidelli lost a few ones with Miller and Crutchlow, but overtook both riders before the end of the first lap. Quartararo didn’t want to let Marquez to escape, so, he stayed behind the Spaniard during the whole race on a distance that was between 1 and 2 seconds.

Behind them, Miller and Morbidelli were fighting for the podium, while the Ducati of Dovizioso and the Yamaha of Viñales were getting close, ready to get as points as possible thanks to that battle. On the other side, Rins were making a comeback that we didn’t see on TV, recovering a lot of positions and chasing the riders named before.

Iannone was the first rider to crash while he was fighting with Oliveira, and Rossi was the other DNF of the race, when he crashed when he was in 11th position. About the battles of the race, the fight for the podium was quite fun. Miller lost positions against Morbidelli, Dovizioso and Viñales, and between them, we saw a fight until the final lap where Dovizioso and Viñales overtook Morbidelli and started to chase the Spaniard the third position of the podium, but he wasn’t able to overtake the Italian rider.

Marc Marquez won the Japanese GP and with this victory Honda is now the World Champions of the constructor championship. Quartararo finished 2nd becoming the rookie of the year and Dovizioso finished 3rd. The top 10 was completed with Viñales, Crutchlow, Morbidelli, Rins, Mir, Petrucci and Miller.
