The MotoGP season arrived to the end. Marc Marquez become the 2017 MotoGP World Champion on a dramatic race where we had a mix of feelings for the riders.

Marquez stayed in front at the start with Zarco having a small problem losing a few positions, but the French rider of Tech3 recovered the positions and also overtook the Honda boys, taking the first position of the race. Meanwhile Dovizioso stayed behind his teammate and both riders overtook Iannone and stayed in 4th and 5th position.

During the race Jorge Lorenzo received again the message of “mapping 8” that we saw on the last Grand Prix, but this time, they repeated the message a lot of times and they even gave messages on his board to let Dovizioso pass for the championship.

At the front Zarco was leading the race and made a small mistake and Marquez tried to overtake him, but Johann recovered the position and even Marquez almost crashed but could make a big save as he made on the last Grand Prix… but the Ducati boys couldn’t make the same, Lorenzo crashed and a few seconds later it was Dovizioso the one who crashed and retired, giving Marc Marquez the title of World Champion.

On the final laps Pedrosa attacked Zarco and had a battle with him, but it wasn’t until the final lap when the Spaniard overtook the French rider and stayed on that position.

Dani Pedrosa won the Valencia GP with Johann Zarco 2nd and Marc Marquez 3rd, becoming the 2017 MotoGP World Champion. The top 10 was completed with Rins, Rossi, Iannone, Miller, Crutchlow, Pirro and Rabat.

The season is over and we must start thinking on 2018, but before that we have the final chapter of the season that you will enjoy this Wednesday. Stay tuned for the season finale of MiniBikers.
