The Australian Grand Prix is over and we could say that the championship is almost sentenced after this race, but you know that this is MotoGP and you can’t celebrate anything until you don’t win it.

Marc Marquez started on pole position but Jack Miller, who came back after missing the last race, overtook him in front of his fans at his home Grand Prix. Today was a day for the battles and to win or lose the championship. Andrea Dovizioso had a really bad start and after the first lap he was in 20th position. Meanwhile Viñales and Rossi were just behind Marquez chasing him.

Viñales overtok Marquez and Zarco tried to do the same with the spaniard, but both touched and were overtaken by Rossi. After that started the battle for the victory with overtakes by everyone and changes at the first position while Dovizioso was trying to make a comeback and reching the points.

With 8 riders fighting for the 1st position it was clear that someone was going to make a mistake and it was Aleix Espargaro who was the only rider who crashed today when he was trying to catch Miller.

The battle for the victory was a real madness and we couldn’t bet who was going to win, in one lap it was Rossi who was leading, at the next one it was Marquez, then it was Viñales, after that it was Zarco… but Marquez was the one who changed the pace and started to put some space with the others with a few laps for the end.

Marquez won the Australian GP with Rossi and Viñales at the poidum. The top 10 was completed with Zarco, Crutchlow, Iannone, Miller, Rins, Pol and Smith. The Yamaha boys overtook Zarco just at the finish line, but it wasn’t the only battle we saw there because Andrea Dovizioso was overtaken by Redding and Pedrosa also at the finish line, losing some important points for the championship.

The next round of the MotoGP championship will be next week at Malaysia. Marquez will have the first matchball to become World Champion but Andrea Dovizioso won’t let him win so easily. Stay tuned to know what will happen at the next race and remember that tonight we’ll have the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix at Austin.
