MotoGP – Japanese GP- Race
The Japanese GP is over and the riders are preparing everything for the next round at Phillip Island. The 2016 MotoGP championship is almost over with still 3 more races for the end of the season, but for now let’s take a look at what we saw at the Japanese GP at Motegi.
At the start both Yamaha overtook Marc Marquez, he had a chance to become World Champion at Motegi, but it was quite hard to make it possible, so the first thing that both riders had to do is finish in front of the Repsol Honda rider, but Marquez wanted to win so he overtook both riders and took again the leadership of the race.
Laverty who recovered from his crash during free practice had another one during the race when he was fighting for the points, being one of the first crashes of the race, continued by Miller, which was the 5th crash of the weekend for the Australian rider.
Rossi overtook his teammate when he saw that Marquez was increasing his distance with Lorenzo and started to chase the number 93, but he crashed, being out of race and also for the championship fight. A few laps later it was Barbera who crashed on his first race with the official Ducati.
Lorenzo who started to feel pain after his crash on Saturday, was chased by Dovizioso and both Suzuki. If he loses the podium, the fight for the championship would be over too. Unfortunately for the spaniard rider, he crashed, making easier the championship for Marquez, who only had to win the race to become World Champion with only 4 laps left.
