Unlike yesterday’s sprint, today’s main race at the Algarve International Circuit was taken by Bezzecchi in commanding fashion. From lights to flag he held the lead, never really under threat, and clocked a finishing time of 41:13.616. He crossed the line 2.583 seconds ahead of Álex Márquez, who took second place.

Álex Márquez, riding strongly for Gresini Ducati, delivered a solid performance to secure the runner-up spot. His second position ensures he holds on to his place in the championship standings behind his brother. Meanwhile, Pedro Acosta came home third, finishing 3.188 seconds behind the winner, consolidating his place among the frontrunners.
Further down the field, rookie Fermín Aldeguer finished a commendable fourth, just 12.860 seconds off the lead and comfortably ahead of more established names. His ride underscored his rapid progress in MotoGP. On the other hand, Francesco Bagnaia endured another disappointing day: he crashed out from fourth place and was unable to salvage valuable points, deepening his woes this season.
With this win, Bezzecchi not only takes his second victory of the season, but he also strengthens Aprilia’s status as a serious challenger to the dominant factions in the championship. As one report put it: “Aprilia are now the principal alternative to the Márquez-Ducati axis.” For the riders, the battle for podiums and minor championship honours remains fiercely contested heading into the season finale.
