A final present

Hello MiniFans.

As you may know, both MiniDrivers and MiniBikers finished even before the end of the F1 season, I need to rest, and I’m sad I couldn’t give you a proper ending for the series, but I have one final present to all of you.

I’ve been working in this project the whole year, and maybe it’s not 100% finished, but I want to give it as a final present to all of you.

I gave you Paper Minis to play with the characters, you drew your own Minis, you played with the videogame… but there was something missing for me… The board game. And this is my final present to all of you, and of course, for free.

MiniDrivers the board game

The idea of MiniDrivers the board game is to bring the action of your favorite cartoons on a board game that could be played from 2 to 6 players.

You will need to play:

• 38 DIN-A4 papers to build everything you need for the game.
• 2 dices

You need to prepare the characters and the cards. For the characters you have easy instructions to follow. For the cards, you need to cut out each image and then glue them together.

How to play?

First of all, you need to create the track. You can create the track as you want, but you need the grid/finish line, and at least 1 attack zone and 1 Dark Mini zone.

Here you have an example of a track, but you can create the one that you want.

Once the track is ready, it’s about time to prepare the qualifying. Every player has to throw one dice. The number that appears will be their position in the grid. If two players have the same number, the one who set the number before will start ahead and the other player will start behind them, moving the drivers behind in case they were.

Once the grid is completed, let’s start the game! You need to throw two dices in each turn and move as many positions as the number that you see, if you have a 4 and a 6, you will move 10 positions forward, being able to move in any position, but always 1 by 1 and always forward.

Every time you pass through the attack zone (blue squares) you will pick one card that can be used the next round.
Each time you use an attack card, you must discard it. In case you don’t want to use it, you can keep it for the future. In each card you have an explanation of what you have to do.

For the hard and soft compounds, you have a piece that you can use to throw it in the track, in case you miss the shot, you will keep the piece there as an obstacle. If you hit the rival, you have an extra turn.

For the Dark Mini zone, you will pick a card ONLY if your turn finish in that position, if not, you can go through without problems.

The objective is to win the race, you can do as many laps as you want. If you use every track card, you can do it in a 3 laps race to have more or less about 15-20 minutes of play.
