MotoGP – 2023 Indian GP – Race

Namaste MiniFans! The first Indian Grand Prix is over and it’s about time to know what happened this weekend with our report of the race where the championship battle is getting more exciting between Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin.

Depite Bezzecchi started on pole, and this time his teammate was not there, he lost the first position against Jorge Martin, but the spaniard made a mistake and was overtaken by Bezzecchi and Bagnaia, keeping the first position the rider of Mooney until the end of the race.

Jorge Martin was able to overtake Bagnaia a few laps later, and Marquez who wanted to get another podium, tried to catch the Italian rider, but he crashed, returning to the race at the bottom of the grid, having to make a comeback reaching the top 10 at the end of the race.

On the other side, Aleix Espargaro had problems and had to retire his bike… A weekend to forget for the Aprilia rider, who will now focus on the next race in Japan next week. The battle for the championship was exciting between Bagnaia and Martin, being the Italian rider the one who had to attack Martin to increase his advantage at the standings, but he lost the control of his Ducati and crashed, making the difference between him and Jorge lower than ever.

In the final lap the physical conditions affected Jorge Martin who made a mistake and was overtaken by Quartararo, but the spaniard won’t give up and overtook him in a moment, keeping his second position.

A new victory for Marco Bezzecchi with Jorge Martin second and Fabio Quartararo closing the podium. The top 10 was completed with Binder, Mir, Zarco, Morbidelli, Viñales, Marc Marquez and Raul Fernandez.
