MotoGP – 2023 Indian GP – Sprint Race

Namaste MiniFans! MotoGP has a new track this season, one that we know from Formula 1 but since 2018 wasn’t used until today. India is back to the motorsport calendar and today we enjoyed the first ever sprint race at the Buddh International Circuit. Wanna know what happened at the Sprint race? Then check out our report!

Marco Bezzecchi started on pole, but Jorge Martin, the master of sprint races, made a better start than the italian rider. Marco tried to recover the position but his teammate Luca Marini hit him at the back and made both to crash, something that also happened to Stefan Bradl, Pol Espargaro and Augusto Fernandez, who retired from the race.

From that moment on, Jorge Martin didn’t had problems to keep the first position until the end of the race. On the other side, Marc Marquez showed a good pace this weekend and was on podium, with his teammate behind him, but Joan Mir crashed after sliding and it was time to Brad Binder the one who will fight for the podium.

The rest of the action that we had during the final laps of the sprint race was the comeback of Marco Bezzecchi, who was able to reach the fifth position at the end of the race, showing that tomorrow could be the great menace for victory.

Jorge Martin won the sprint race with Francesco Bagnaia in 2nd position and Marc Marquez finished on third position, returning to the podium. The top 10 was completed with Brad Binder, Marco Bezzecchi, Fabio Quartararo, Jack Miller, Mavierck Viñales, Raul Fernandez and Fabio Di Giannantonio.

Tomorrow we will enjoy the first Indian Grand Prix and we can’t wait to show you what will happen with your favorite cartoons.
