A race to remember the Sakhir GP in Bahrain for a lot of drivers. Lewis Hamilton wasn’t able to race because he was covid positive and George Russell replaced him at Mercedes, while Jake Aitken drove the Williams that weekend, also Pietro Fittipaldi drove the Haas instead of Romain Grosjean, who won’t be race the final two races of the season due his crash at the previous race. In Sakhir Mercedes started on the first row and Russell showed enough pace to win the race, but this sport can give you surprises and what a way to do it because Mercedes made a mistake during a pitstop and both cars lost a few positions, something that Racing Point used and Sergio Pérez was able to win his first ever Grand Prix in Formula 1 and he still don’t have a seat for the next season.
