MotoGP – Dutch GP – Race
Quite an interesting race we have lived on Netherlands, with overtakes, crashes and a close battle for the win, makes this race one of the most entertaining races of this season.
As the lights turn green, it was Alex Rins who took the lead after an enormous start; Viñales, Marquez and Quartararo followed him closely at the front. But eventually, a unfortunate event happened, as Alex Rins went to the groud on the 3rd lap, leaving the lead to Quartararo, who was holding up Viñales and Márquez behind.
Battle was intense on diferent parts of the grid, like the battle behind the leading group, with Dovizioso, Petrucci and Mir fighting for 4th place; some of them didn’t end well, as Valentino Rossi and Takaaki Nakagami got to the groud as they were battle for position. Meanwhile at front, a constant lead change, as Marquez, Quartararo and Viñales were cooking a dramatic race while the laps passed by.
As the race was heading to an end, the riders were pushing to the limit, with a strong overtake for Viñales to Marquez on the final laps, increasing the pace and controling the pressure for behind. As Marquez and Quartararo tried hard to keep up, the Yamaha rider was flying on track, with a spectacular performance taking his first win of the season, with Marquez 2nd and Quartararo closing the podium
