MotoGP – Argentina GP – Race

A dominant Honda steps up to claim the first victory for Marc Marquez, but with some interesting battles for the other two steps of the podium, on a entretaining race at Termas Del Rio Hondo.
Ligths out and Marquez skyrocket his way on the track and got away from the rest of the pack on every lap of the race, but behind him, there was some fighting with Dovi, Rossi, Morbidelli and Miller. Crutchlow was also on the hunt, but received a ride-through penalty for a jump start at the grid, Viñales had another bad start and had to recover some places.
After some laps, it was clear that Marquez was going to win the race, but at the chasing group there was some good overtakings and close battles, like Dovi and Rossi constantly changing position; Morbidelli and Miller putting some pressure; And Nakagami, Rins, Petrucci and Viñales joining the group. Hard to say how was going to end on this group.
Few laps to go, Dovizioso and Valentino move a little away from the chasing group and decided 2nd and 3rd place on the podium, with Dovi dominating most of the sectors, it was more likely to him take 2nd, but the “Dottore” still has some skills and hidden trick, surprising Dovi on the last lap and getting the second step of the podium, a great exhibition for some of his biggest fans. At the back there was some drama, as Morbidelli lost control of his bike and also took Viñales out of the race, an unfortunate event for the two riders, Morbidelli had problems to walk on his own, hopefully that he is okay for next race.
