MotoGP – Italian GP – Race

Today Mugello become a dream come true for a lot of people. The tifosi could enjoy a great race and could cheer not only their favorite rider. Their team also celebrated a new victory. Also Jorge Lorenzo finally could put his Lorenzo’s Land flag wearing the red of Ducati, and also the championship standings become more compact after a mistake of Marc Marquez.

Valentino Rossi started on pole at the Italian Grand Prix, but Lorenzo, as we are used, made an awesome start and took the first position, followed by the italian rider of Yamaha and Petrucci, but Marquez overtook the rider of Pramac, who lost a lot of positions, continuing the race in 10th position.

As we saw two weeks ago in LeMans, we started to see riders crashing on track, having 6 riders crashing on the first two laps: Pedrosa, Nakagami, Miller, Redding, Abraham and Luthi, but the one that we didn’t expect was Marc Marquez, who tried to save a crash after overtaking Valentino Rossi and trying to catch Lorenzo, but this time, he wasn’t able to recover the right position and he crashed, losing all the positions, but he could return to the track last.

The first two positions were almost decided with Lorenzo and Dovizioso, but the battle for the podium become the main show with Valentino Rossi defending his 3rd position against Iannone, Rins and Petrucci. All of them were trying to take the podium, but only the experience of Rossi made him to take that position.

Jorge Lorenzo won the Italian Grand Prix with Andrea Dovizioso 2nd and Valentino Rossi 3rd. The top 10 was completed with Iannone, Rins, Crutchlow, Petrucci, Viñales, Bautista and Zarco.

The next round of the championship will be in two weeks in Barcelona for the Catalan Grand Prix. What will happen at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya? The answer really soon.
