Time now for the second race of the day with the MotoGP British GP at Silverstone. The championship changed completely after this race after the retirement of Marc Marquez on a race that was led by Valentino Rossi on his 300th GP, but Dovizioso wanted to join the party and took the victory on the final laps.

Marquez started on pole position but Rossi showed an awesome pace overtaking the spaniard at the start, something that Viñales also made a couple of laps after the start. The Yamaha boys want a 1-2 victory at Silverstone and get closer at the championship and today it was the perfect day for that.

Marquez was overtaken by Dovizioso too, losing the podium while Crutchlow came to this group. Marquez overtook Dovizioso making the fastest lap, but Dovizioso showed that he had a better pace so he overtook again Marquez and also Viñales, starting a battle between the Yamaha and the Ducati boy which was won by the italian rider. Also Marquez used that battle to get closer to them and overtake Viñales, taking the podium, but the 93 wnated more and started to chase again Dovizioso but the Honda engine said enough and blew up making a change at the championship.

After that the battle for the victory changed from 5 riders to 4. Dovizioso started to increase his pace and overtook Rossi with just 3 laps to go. Also Viñales overtook his teammte.

With a couple of laps to go, Iannone crashed and took with him Petrucci who was trying to catch Aleix Espargaró. After that crash, the Spaniard had to retire due his pain after a karting crash this week.

Victory for Andrea Dovizioso who is again the championship leader after the British Grand Prix. Maverick Viñales and Valentino Rossi were at the podium with him and the top 10 was completed with Crutchlow, Lorenzo, Zarco, Pedrosa, Redding, Rins and Bautista.

The next round of the championship will be in two weeks at Misano. Rossi will race at home but Dovizioso is the again the leader of the championship. The season is on fire and we can’t wait for the next round of the championship.
