The two Pramac bikes were the first to hit the wet track of Sachsenring with the rain conditions right now. Pol Espargaro and Jack Miller, who has experience on winning on rain conditions, were the riders on top, but on every lap, the top riders were changing, nbeing Rins and Baz the enxt riders on top. Time was passing and the riders were taking more risks, and also improving more their times, being Iannone and Petrucci now the riders on top, but the Avintia boys don’t want to lose the chance of being on Q2, improving Barbera and being in 2nd position, but again Miller and Iannone were again on top. Petrucci was again on top just when the rain started to increase with 2 mintues to go. Iannone made a mistake on his final attempt and some riders were coming really fast like Pol Espargaró, Loris Baz and Bradley Smith being the spaniard the one who improved. Chequered flag with Petrucci and Pol Espargaró in top with the Q1 grid finished with Miller, Baz, Smith, Iannone, Kallio, Barbera, Zarco, Abraham, Lowes, Rins, Redding and Rabat.

Time now to get serious with the Q2 and the rain has just stopped. Petrucci and Pedrosa were the riders on top and after almost win the last race, Petrucci was on fire this weekend and wanted to fight not only for the pole, he wanted to fight for the victory tomorrow. Pedrosa was improving his time but Petrucci takes his time just a couple seconds later. With only 2 minutes to go, Marquez took the first position to Petrucci, but the italian rider won’t let him get the pole.

Chequered flag and the riders were coming through the finish line for the last time, improving their times. Petrucci was coming with red helmet but Marquez improved his time, making a 1.27.302, something that Petrucci couldn’t beat.

Pole position for Marc Marquez with Danilo Petrucci 2nd and Dani Pedrosa 3rd. The Q2 grid was completed with Crutchlow, Folger, Lorenzo, Pol Espargaró, Aleix Espargaró, Valentino Rossi, Andrea Dovizioso, Maverick Viñales and Alvaro Bautista.

Tomorrow the italian rider will try to get his first victory, but Marc Marquez will try to get a new victory at the German GP. Tomorrow we’ll know the winner before the summer break.
