Dani Pedrosa started on pole at Barcelona. When the lights turned off, Petrucci nearly crashed with Marquez and lost a lot of positions, having to make a comeback during the race, but the italian rider crashed on the last laps of the race when he was chased by the Tech3 riders.

Lorenzo made the same start as at Mugello, started to lose positions, being just behind Valentino Rossi who didn’t had his best weekend. Meanwhile, his teammate, Andrea Dovizioso, was starting to go really fast and overtook the Honda riders, taking the first position and the second victory of the year.

During the last laps of the race, Lorenzo saw the huge battle between Zarco an Bautista, overtaking both riders, and also Zarco had another battle with his teammate, Folger, overtaking him on the last lap.

On the other hand, the Yamaha riders were beaten by the satellite bikes, with Rossi reaching the 8th position and Viñales the 10th. It’s sure that Yamaha will focus now on the next round and will try to forget this weekend as fast as possible.

Andrea Dovizioso won the Catalan GP and he’s now closer to Viñales at the championship. The Honda riders Marquez and Pedrosa finished on podium and the top 10 was completed with Lorenzo, Zarco, Folger, Bautista, Rossi, Barbera and Viñales.

Time now to focus on the next race of the day, the second round of the Berlin ePrix and after that, the F1 Canadian GP. Stay tuned to this site to know what will happen at Germany and Canada.
