Lorenzo started to chase Zarco during the second part of the race and overtook him, reaching the podium for the first time this year with his Ducati, but Zarco wouldn’t give up, so he stayed on his back during the rest of the race, waiting the perfect moment to attack, but the spaniard had a great pace and could finish the race on third position.

On the other side, Rossi started to have problems and was losing positions with his rivals, finishing the race on 10th position, but he was still the championship leader, but after this race, the top 3 riders were really close between them.
