Weekend is over and the Argentina GP left us so many headlines about the MotoGP season. Ducati and Honda had a weekend to forget while Viñales achieved his second victory of the season with Yamaha.
At the start Marquez kept his first position but Abraham lost a lot of positions, leaving the top 10 in a couple of laps. Lorenzo touched Iannone and crashed, while the italian made a jump start and received a ride through penalty.
On the front Viñales and Crutchlow had a battle with the victory for the spaniard. Rossi tried to overtake Cal too, but it wasn’t possible. Viñales wanted to reach Marquez, but the mission was over when the Honda rider crashed, without any chance to continue the race. The list of crashes continued with Alex Rins with his Suzuki, but this wouldn’t be over here. A few laps later, while Pedrosa was fighting with Zarco and Petrucci, also crashed at the same point where his teammate fell.
The last crash of the day came from Aleix Espargaró, who also hit Dovizioso and also crashed.
The final laps had a good battle between Rossi and Crutchlow for the second position, with the victory for the italian rider, who received the cheering of his fans in Argentina.
Maverick Viñales won the Argentina GP with Valentino Rossi 2nd on his 350th GP and Cal Crutchlow 3rd. The top 10 was completed with Álvaro Bautista on a great race with Aspar, the Tech3 riders Zarco and Folger, the Pramac guys Petrucci and Redding, Miller and Abraham.
