Awful start for Ferrari, Kimi Raikkone hit his teammate who spun and lost so many positions and he also crashed with Max Verstappen. The three drivers had to pit at the end of the first lap losing all the advantage, but it was not the only driver who had problems, Sainz had a puncture and destroyed the rear wing, having a new retirement for the spaniard driver.

What about Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso? Both drivers started from the back of the grid and they managed to reach the top 10 without problems, but when Kevin Magnussen crashed causing a safety-car, making so many drivers to pit, making Alonso and Lewis reach the 4th and 5th position, and after that, a red flag appeared because they have to repair the protections of the turn where Magnussen crashed, making the whole grid to change their tyres, something that went great for the first 5 drivers.

When the race started again Lewis Hamilton continued his comeback overtaking Alonso and starting a battle with Hulkenberg, overtaking him with the DRS, but the funny part came with Kvyat who was chased by Grosjean, Vettel and Bottas. The german driver overtook Grosjean and he started a battle with Kvyat, but he overtook him without problems. Raikkonen had also a battle with Grosjean, but the Ferrari driver was hit by Grosjean making the iceman to become really angry, overtaking him later.

Hulkenberg and Alonso had a battle on boxes, where both drivers had their exit at the same time, but nothing happened between them, Hulkenberg was still ahead but Alonso started to lose time with the german driver and the McLaren was showing again a poor pace, being overtaken by Pérez and Vettel, but reaching a great 7th position for the spaniard and for McLaren.
